Opal doublets are thin slivers of natural opal backed with host rock, basalt or obsidian. These particular ones are backed with the opal host rock. They're bezel set in sterling silver or 14k goldfilled with the backs fully covered. These are really dainty earrings that have a lot of rainbow & glow.
